As we enter the fall season, people are excited for the new fashion trends and looks that all can enjoy. Miami’s seasons are very limited and in reality there is no true fall, but it does not stop us from trying to develop our own fall style. Here are some rules on how to properly dress when in the fall fashion season.

This is Miami, so don’t over do the heavy clothes.

Miami has a very temperate climate, meaning that you can really wear your spring clothes year-round without there being any difference in temperature.

However, if you want to show some type of diversity in your wardrobe, it is best that you don’t wear too much heavy clothing because although we are in October, it still feels like late August. So, you can wear your turtlenecks and your sweaters, but not your heavy coats.

Wear typical Fall colors

Some of the best outfits you can have for fall need to at least pass the color test. The color test is a test that you should look to when trying to match your outfit to the appropriate colors of the season.

If your clothes don’t at least have one of these colors, you should switch it up.  green bomber over an orange hoodie with green joggers and orange nikes should meet these requirements.

Not only does it match the weather season but it’s also college football season so you can be supporting the Miami Hurricanes at the same time.

Don’t overthink your outfits

This is the most important rule. Trends go through changes all the time, so your outfit may not be as well received as you might expect. But as long you feel comfortable with what you’re wearing, you’ll be fine.

Your confidence in your outfit will elevate your overall appeal and people will gravitate towards that.

In the end, all you need to do is not wear heavy clothing, use the right colors and be confident. Wear the clothes, don’t let the clothes wear you. Meaning you should be fearless when rocking your outfit.

As long as you follow the rules, you’ll be the talk of the town in the best way possible.
