Though off to a rocky start, 2018 is the year to be filled of greater things, high expectations, and spending every weekend at the theater. With amazing movies released earlier this year such as Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Proud Mary, 12 Strong, Forever My Girl, more are soon to come. With these new movies coming throughout the year, a second is not to be spend missing out on these films.
The top action movies coming soon include Infinity War, Black Panther, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, and Tomb Raider. A recent favorite, Black Panther, which came out on February 15, is about Marvel’s Wakanadian King who returns to his home and is faced against challenges when it comes to protecting his kingdom as the Black Panther. Infinity War, which is to be released date on May 4, is the third movie of The Avengers series. It will bring together all the Avengers who are still recovering from the recent Civil War and join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to fight the villain Thanos.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which will be released on June 22, and X-Men: Dark Phoenix on November 2, will continue from their movie series from the previous films. Other action movies– Aquaman, Red Sparrow, A Wrinkle in Time, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Love Simon and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grundleward— are also upcoming films to be looking to forward to in 2018.
For a laugh, Ant-Man and Wasp, The Incredibles 2 (which will be taking place only a minute after where the first movie ended), and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (declared the best musical coming in aside from Th Greatest Showman) will be shown in theaters. These comedy movies are all expected to be released in June to July.
Other movies from family to romance to horror have yet to premiere a trailer. With many options to pick from, 2018 is expected to be filled with some of the best movies of all time.
