The 60th Annual Grammy Award Show yesterday has been the second award show, and the biggest award show in the music industry, to kick off the 2018 award season. With stellar performances from the most popular and beloved artists and a star studded guest list – including artists such as, John Legend, Cardi B, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar and many more – fans at home were excitedly watching and tweeting throughout the entire show. Here’s a recap of the glorious night.
Artists made their way through the red carpet, getting their pictures taken and getting interviewed, but some looks stood out amongst the crowd. For instance, Lady Gaga turned heads in her Armani dress with a low turtleneck and beige and black lace upper-half, followed by a train of her silky black dress. Camila Cabello also earned praise for her mermaid red dress with a deep plunge neckline and ruffle along the lining. Lorde wore a spaghetti strapped red dress but with a twist – a bundle of red ruffles covering her from hip to toe.

The 60th Annual Grammy Awards earned both the praise and dismay of several admiring fans and views, as well as attendees themselves. In comparison to the 2017 awards, the show lost over 6 million viewers – resulting in one of the lowest viewing rates in years. Despite the drop in popularity, the show retains its popularity and uniqueness nonetheless.
