The holiday season has finally begun and Christmas is right around the corner. For many, this season is the most a stressful time of year because many do not have enough money to buy their loved ones presents. What many might not know is that there are ways to get family and friends thoughtful gifts without having to empty their piggy banks. With some creativity and imagination, everything is possible. Even those that are not creative or crafty, these DIY gifts are easy, simple and worth doing.
Bath Bombs: This gift is perfect for anyone; both friends or family. Bath Bombs are known to be overpriced in some stores, however, there is no point in wasting money on something that can be done at home for a lower price. Not only is it cheaper to make a Bath Bomb at home, but it is also convenient because one can customize it based on the color and scent the person might like best.
Knit Blanket: For some, buying a gift for grandma is a tricky task. For many, their Grandmas are always the go to person when it comes to and almost all the gifts one received were made from scratch. Although knitting may look complicated and time consuming it is not and there are many tutorials online that demonstrate various easy patterns that take less than an hour to do. All one needs is time and yarn that can be found at a local store.
Candle Holder: Having a lot of friends is nice and fun, until christmas comes around and one can’t think of a good gift to give them. Not to mention all of them have to have similar gifts so they don’t feel less loved or forgotten. A simple solution to this dilemma is to give them all similar gifts. For example, a candle holder is a great cute and simple present that one can decorate based on the person’s favorite color or aesthetic. There is nothing better than receiving a candle with your favorite scent and cute customized holder.
Grill set holder: It may be hard finding a DIY gift for a guy, however, it’s not impossible. If one wants to give a present to their father, favorite uncle or grandpa – something grill or tool related should do the trick depending on their hobbies and what they like to do. A grill set holder is a simple yet cool DIY gift. One can customize it however they would like it, it can be with their name or a funny phrase. For this DIY four things are needed: Wood, Paint of any color, screws, and knobs. First paint the wooden surface and add any design, then screw in the knobs. (Tip: add polyurethane for a glossy look.)
