Asking someone to be your valentine signifies that you not only want to spend “the day of love” with that special someone, but that you care for them enough to go above and beyond in making that day special.
To most, asking somebody to be their valentine can be a nerve-wracking experience and they will more than likely over-think this process. In fact, it’s actually as simple as it gets.
Most girls like romance, chocolates, flowers, food, or jewelry. The more you care for someone the more romantic you should be to ask them out. However, if the other person is not a romantic, then the easier method is just to write it out or just verbally ask them.
On the day of love, it’s better to get sweet and mushy.
Some idealistic ways that girls from Miami Lakes Educational Center would like to be asked out include endless romance, love letters, a big sign and of course a girl’s favorite: food.
Stephanie Navarro, a junior in Information Technology, says, “I would like to be asked out with a bouquet of flowers, a huge teddy bear and have dinner at the Melting Pot because I’ve always wanted to go there.”
“I always wanted one of those scavenger hunts and in the end the guy has flowers and chocolate and a teddy bear and him asking me to be his valentine,” says Andriella Martinez, a senior in the Entrepreneurship Academy.
“I always wanted a pepperoni pizza and inside I want it to say “I know this is cheesy but will you be my valentine?” I love food so anything with food melts my heart,” says Ashell Coba, another senior in the Entrepreneurship Academy.
More likely than not, a little food and a sentimental thought will win over your sweetheart. So find out what they love, and do your best to make their day special.
