Kicking off the 2014 award season are the Golden Globes. The best of the best come out to celebrate nominated movies and TV shows. When it came to fashion, there were some hits and misses. Here are the best and worst of the night: 

Best Dressed

1. Taylor Swift: After the brown mess she wore last year, Taylor Swift came out in a simple two-tone Carolina Herrara gown. It was simple, but elegant as she donned a new short due.

2. Amy Adams: In a jaw-dropping halter top gown, Adams looked sexy and wonderful. Despite matching the carpet, Adams was a absolute stand out!

3. Sofia Vergara: The Colombian actress knows how to bring drama to the carpet. Dressed in a black Zac Posen ball gown, she rocked the red carpet.

4. Lupita Nyong’o: The main lead in 12 Years a Slave looked like a superhero. She wore a stunning red gown with a cape!

5. Zooey Deschanel: In a Oscar de la Renta off-white gown, Zooey looked fabulous. She finished the look off with a simple swipe of red lipstick.

Worst Dressed

1. Tina Fey: Fey disappointed  on the red carpet. She wore a Carolina Herrara dress with an enormous leaf pattern and a lot of bulk around the hips. She could do better.

2. Lena Dunham: Lena stepped out in a hideous yellow gown that shrunk her figure and made her look bulky.

3. Jennifer Lawrence: It seems all Jennifer can wear is Dior! Despite her Dior contract, Jennifer decided to done white curtains from Walmart.

4. Heidi Klum: The international supermodel disappointed as she come out in a dress that seemed to be made out of table cloth. Klum seemed to try to relive her youth.

5. Aubrey Plaza: The Parks and Recreation star seemed to have been bathed in purple. The gown had a large bow in the back to top it off.
