MLEC Welcomes Class of 2028

By Tiffany Perera

MLEC is excited to welcome the Class of 2028 as we commence a new school year. We are thrilled to greet our newest students and their families, ready to begin  a journey of learning, growth and discovery together.

This year, we have prepared a supportive and engaging environment to aid in the success of every student. Our devoted faculty and staff are committed to providing a well-rounded education that combines academic excellence with chances  for personal development. With a diverse curriculum such as AP and AICE classes and a wide range of extracurricular activities, we aim to cultivate  each student’s unique talents and interests.

To ensure a smooth transition, we will include guided tours of the campus, meet-and-greet sessions with teachers and interactive activities such as activities on Fridays that allow for board games and games. Which is designed to help students get acquainted with their new atmosphere  and peers. These efforts  are intended to make students feel comfortable and excited about joining their new school community, setting a positive tone for the year ahead.

We believe that a strong partnership between students, parents and teachers is the key to a fortunate  educational experience. We recommend  families to get involved and take advantage of the many resources available at MLEC for instance by contacting our instagram or even teachers email on our website. By working together, we can create an understanding   and enriching habitat  for our students.

Some students shared their thoughts on the first day at MLEC .  They have expressed their  emotions towards the  new school year ‘’ It was an alright experience. I didn’t feel any indifference.  I was very excited to see old friends. But I was not excited to be in school and starting a new school. ‘’ said Freshman  Rachel Gonzalez.

Meanwhile, there is an opposing perspective from another classmate’s first day. ‘’I find it pretty exciting because it’s a new environment with new people but I’m also scared when  i’m alone in classes. It becomes nerve racking but so far it’s  been really good and I’ve  liked my first day experience!’’, said Freshman Karolyn Perez.

As we welcome the Class of 2028, we are inspired by the goals  and potential each student brings. We look forward to assisting  their academic journey and honoring  their achievements throughout the year.

Welcome to Miami Lakes Educational Center, Class of 2028! Here’s to a fantastic year of learning and improvement.
