Waking up in the morning can be one of the hardest tasks known to man. It’s the internal battle to shake off the zombie-like feeling to just sink into one’s mattress and fall into a deep slumber that every single person faces. 

One of the reasons we are told to wake up is to eat “the most important meal of the day” — breakfast. This very meal jumpstarts the beginning of everyone’s day and catalyzes whatever good or bad happens as well. 

With so much emphasis on eating breakfast, why is there so less of an emphasis on flavor? There can only be so many times in which bed-haired individuals with cobwebbed eyes open up the old syrup bottle to pour the mundane sugary zest on the same old pancakes. The lack of innovation as it pertains to flavor is a big reason why the struggle to wake up is as prevalent as stated.

Fortunately, Another Broken Egg Cafe has solved this issue.

Unlike other breakfast restaurants, Another Broken Egg Cafe places a larger emphasis on flavor and, more specifically, how to expand palates through unique combinations. Take their french toast, for example. 

Their cinnamon roll french toast is essentially the average thick-cut, french toast — but in the form of a cinnamon roll, with cream cheese icing, plenty of berries, and lots of whipped cream. The sweetness of the french toast gets cut and blended perfectly with the sharp, freshness of the berries and when paired with the light, airy taste of the whipped cream and the mouth-watering cream cheese icing, it creates a dish that’s absolutely to die for.

Another great item they have been sporting on the menu would be the chicken and waffles. A lot of times, when ordering chicken and waffles, restaurants will do great on one and only average on the other, with very little consistency for both. But at Another Broken Egg Cafe, both pieces of the puzzle come together in holy matrimony. 

The chicken has a light, crunchy outside with a soft and juicy inside for customers to enjoy. Their Belgian waffles are soft and flavorful — frankly, it does not even need syrup to satisfy the taste buds. But when put to use, the added sweetness takes the dish to another planet, creating a sweet and savory experience that everyone should relish.

Thanks to their flavorful french toast and delicious chicken and waffles, Another Broken Egg Cafe finally gives people a reason to wake up and start their morning. Their breakfast menu casts a restaurant rating that is definitely worth a 9/10.
